In short
I don’t use Google Analytics, marketing pixels, ads or embedded third-party services — everything, including fonts, loads from my own server. That’s why there is no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to. I use the details from the contact form only to reply to your inquiry.
Who processes your data
The controller of personal data on this website is:
ENGIMOTIVE, obrt (sole proprietorship), owner Refik Bašić
Zenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Email: info@engimotive.com
For any question about your data or to exercise the rights described here, write to the same address.
Contact form and email
When you send me an inquiry through the form or by email, I process:
- your name and email address,
- the project type and your message,
- technical details the form sends automatically: the page language, the address of the page you sent it from and the time it was sent.
Purpose: replying to your inquiry, preparing a quote and agreeing on possible work together.
Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 8(1)(b) of the Bosnian Law on Personal Data Protection and Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); for general questions, my legitimate interest in replying to you (point f).
Required fields: name, email and message. Without them I can’t reply. I don’t ask for your phone number, address or any other details I don’t need to answer you.
Retention: I keep inquiries and correspondence for as long as needed to reply and for possible work together, and no longer than two years after our last contact. If we work together, I keep the details needed for the contract and invoices for as long as accounting and tax rules require.
Spam protection
To prevent automated mass submissions, the form temporarily stores your IP address in a shortened, unreadable form (a hash) and limits submissions to five per hour. This record is deleted automatically once the limit expires and is used for nothing else. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in protecting the website.
Visiting the website and server logs
On every visit, the server automatically processes technical data sent by your browser: IP address, date and time of access, the requested page, browser and operating system type, and the page you came from. The website can’t be delivered without it.
This data is used only to run and secure the website and to fix errors. I don’t combine it with other data or use it to track visitors. Server logs are kept briefly by the hosting provider, in line with its own policies. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in running the website securely and correctly.
Cookies and tracking
This website uses no cookies or other identifiers for analytics, advertising or tracking, and stores nothing in your browser for those purposes. There is no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, YouTube video, Google Maps or fonts loaded from third-party servers.
The only thing the site remembers in your browser is the language you chose (in local storage on your device), so it opens in the same language next time. It contains nothing about you, never leaves your device and can be removed by clearing the site data in your browser.
If the hosting provider uses strictly necessary cookies to protect against attacks, they are not used for tracking and do not require consent. If I ever add analytics or a similar tool, I will update this policy first and ask for your consent before the tool loads.
Who receives your data
I don’t sell your data or share it for marketing. Access is limited to:
- Hostinger International Ltd. (61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus) — website hosting and email service. Hostinger processes data on my behalf under its data processing terms. The website server is in France and backups are in Lithuania, both in the European Union, where the GDPR applies.
- public authorities, but only where the law explicitly requires it.
Links to other websites (such as LinkedIn) lead to services with their own privacy policies. My website sends them no data unless you click the link yourself.
Your rights
Regarding your data, you have the right to:
- find out whether I process it and get a copy (right of access),
- have inaccurate data corrected,
- have your data erased,
- restrict processing,
- receive your data in a common electronic format (portability),
- object to processing based on legitimate interest.
Send your request to info@engimotive.com. I reply without undue delay and within 30 days at the latest.
If you believe your data has been processed unlawfully, you can lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (www.azlp.ba). Visitors from the European Union can also contact the data protection supervisory authority in their own country.
Automated decision-making
I make no decisions based solely on automated processing and do not profile visitors.
Security
The website runs exclusively over an encrypted HTTPS connection. The contact form does not save messages in a database on the website; it sends them straight to my business mailbox, which only I can access.
Legal framework and changes
This policy follows the Bosnian Law on Personal Data Protection (Official Gazette of BiH No. 12/25) and, for visitors from the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679). When I change how I process data, I will update this page and the date below.
